  Excellent outdoor seating area, fast service, cooks were friendly. I had the classic burger and the next day I had the bison "burger" which was not a patty. I would not recommend either one. The food is high quality; but, something is amiss for me. The burgers just don't seem to stack up against other ones I've had, in the taste arena. The classic burger patty didn't taste seasoned, or if it was, I couldn't detect it, and immediately didn't like it. I ate almost half the bison "burger" because I did not want to waste it; but, I ended up just taking it back to the counter because chewing that meat really grossed me out. The owner didn't offer me any compensation or trade; I would have gladly accepted something small, anything really. However, I did eat half the bison "burger" so I understand it wouldn't make good business sense to give me a refund. Me? I would have gone the extra mile to avoid a bad review; however, the taste cannot be helped, the service CAN be helped. I didn't make a fuss or get mad, just agreed with him that in his words: "I chose it." I made my bison "burger" bed and now I must slumber (tossing and turning) in it. Lol. Personal gripe: damn American music EVERYWHERE, it cannot be escaped apparently. It just seems weird that in a country where they want everyone to speak French first, they bombard you with American music in seemingly every eatery. Play some French music! I would have given 3 stars if he would have been more amenable to exchange something for the bison "burger." Perhaps change the fries I also returned into poutine? As I was writing this (2 star) review I took a picture of the menu and counter as you can see, the owner grabbed his phone and took a picture of me at the same time, as if to say something. Shady. One star. I won't be back. I was even going to get an ice cream for the road but nah. Oh god, now it's boz skaggs (not hating, Boz is the boss).

  Perfect blue cheese burger. Get takeout and go to brewery four doors down for a great beer. Brewery does not sell food and gives a discount if you show them your hamburger receipt

  Don't let the roadside "fast food joint" appearance fool you into thinking this is your average burger and poutine place. It is anything but. Every ingredient is either local or home made. We had the bison smoked meat sandwich, oktoberfest dog with home made mustard and smoked sauce poutine and they were all exquisite. The menu has an ample selection and the service is extremely friendly. If you're in Montebello, it's a must stop and if you're not too far, it's worth a detour.
